Board of Directors

Caroline Chavez joined the Vocational Visions Board of Directors in 2025, bringing nearly 39 years of experience with In-N-Out Burger, where she currently serves as the Division Manager overseeing seven locations.  During her tenure at In-N-Out Burger, she also served as a corporate trainer, classroom instructor, and store manager.  Her extensive background in leadership development, team building, and Customer Service strengthens our mission and adds operational insights to the board. 

Caroline is currently married, and her husband also worked for In-N-Out for 40 years.  She was raised in Lancaster alongside her younger brother, who has Down Syndrome, and is no stranger to the world of the developmentally disabled.  Caroline currently lives in Huntington Beach, loves to travel, and all things Disney. 

From the age of 8 to 12, Caroline volunteered at Desert Haven Industries and later supported Special Olympic events.  For 35 years, she also volunteered with In-N-Out’s nonprofit initiative, including coordinating a 400-volunteer golf tournament that raised 2.8 million dollars.  

Caroline holds a BSBMS and MBA from the University of Phoenix, Human Resources Management Certification from UC Irvine, and Certification in Executive Leadership and Management from Notre Dame School of Business.
