DAY TRAINING ACTIVITY CENTER PALA

Empowering Person Served Choice & Community Integration

Our Day Training Activity Center program at our Pala location ("DTAC Pala") offers a wide array of options for persons served. We provide instruction in necessary skills such as interviewing, job search, job application completion, and guide persons served through the process of finding employment. Persons served may elect to do volunteer work or seek a paid internship to expand their job skills, and then transition to competitive integrated employment. DTAC Pala is a partial site-based program, offering classroom instruction on topics such as life skills development, personal safety and wellness, along with community outings and other leisure activities to provide a full experience for our persons served. Persons served in this program are able to manage much of their own time, so the staff to persons served ratio for this program is 1:6.
