Ingredients:
Shredded or sliced cheese
Shredded or sliced cooked chicken (optional)
2 flour tortillas
Optional: instead of chicken, you can add a fried egg and cooked bacon for a breakfast quesadilla
Optional: serve with salsa
Instructions:
- Place 1 tortilla on nonstick pan
- Add a little shredded or sliced cheese (whichever flavor you prefer)
- Add shredded or sliced cooked chicken (optional)
- Add more shredded cheese on top of chicken (this will help the tortillas to stick together when the cheese melts)
- Place second tortilla on top of cheese and chicken
- Turn on stove on to medium heat
- Cook both sides until golden brown and cheese has melted (use a spatula to flip your quesadilla)
- Place your quesadilla on a plate and wait 1 - 3 minutes for it to cool
- Cut into 2 or 4 pieces using a pizza cutter or a knife
