House of Champions Clubhouse

Fun & Relaxationclubhouse

The Clubhouse is a safe and friendly place for people with developmental disabilities to enjoy the company of their friends in a comfortable setting. The Clubhouse offers a social and recreational program and the emphasis is definitely on fun and relaxation. Members are free to participate in any of the daily activities or just hang out and socialize. A sample of some Clubhouse activities include: movies, dances, arts & crafts, sports and theme parties.

Membership

The Clubhouse is located in our Alambre building at 23612 Alambre in Mission Viejo. The Clubhouse is open Fridays and Saturdays. Friday hours are from 2:30 pm - 7:30 pm; Saturday hours are from 12:00-7:00 pm. Members are selected if they pass the clubhouse policies. Dinner is served on both days at a cost of $3.00 per individual per meal.

Participants can come try it once for free, then they need to register with Vocational Visions. It costs $100 a semester and either $20 a month or $5 per visit (both paid to Vocational Visions.) There may be additional fees for special events and dinners.

How It Started

On June 2nd , 2006 the Vocational Visions Clubhouse teamed together with the Saddleback Valley Unified School District to offer a new and exciting Clubhouse program. The goal is to provide entertainment and fun-filled opportunities for socialization and relaxation. We encourage parents, family members, Board members, friends, and all those who take an interest in us to come share in the fun on Fridays and Saturdays.

There is nothing more rewarding than hearing the laughter and seeing the happy expressions that prevail on all those happy faces when everyone sang out together, “THE CLUBHOUSE ROCKS!”
